Scale settings
Declared units will appear after loading.
Exact input accepts the full range. The quick slider is unavailable outside its range.
Conversion multiplies all coordinates about (0, 0) to preserve physical positions. The lower-left anchor is available for resizing only.

Actual exported DXF
Your generated DXF will appear here.
No DXF generated.
Previews use dark outlines; the DXF retains resolved drawing colors. Both previews fit independently; compare numeric bounds below to see the scale change. Only selected paths and points are exported. Text is omitted, filled areas become outlines, inserts are flattened, and curves use existing 5-degree sampling. Layers are renamed L1, L2, etc.; the report maps their source memberships.
Drawing report
Supported 2D model-space lines, ordinary polylines/bulges, circles/arcs/ellipses, points, solids, projected 3DFACE wireframes, bounded inserts/arrays (text excluded from export). Curves are sampled at 5°; text is omitted. Hatches, splines, dimensions, meshes, paper layouts, non-default extrusion coordinates and external references are not reproduced. Nonzero Z may project to XY. Linetypes, lineweights and CAD fonts are not exact. DXF output reconstructs 2D polylines and points; it is not a lossless CAD conversion. Keep the original DXF and verify critical work in CAD software.
A FEW SIMPLE STEPS
How to use DXF Scale & Unit Converter
Choose a text DXF or load the example.
Confirm source units, then choose unit conversion or resizing.
Select layers and inspect before-and-after bounds and the exported preview.
Download the reconstructed DXF and layer mapping report.

Why use this tool?
Your drawing never leaves your device. Source files remain unchanged. Review the explicitly limited reconstruction before using the result.
Tool inputs stay in your browser. Only your theme preference is saved on this device.
A few things worth knowing
Is this a lossless DXF editor?
No. Supported model-space paths and points are reconstructed as 2D polylines and points. Text is omitted, fills become outlines, curves are sampled at 5 degrees, blocks are flattened and layers are remapped. Unsupported entities are skipped with warnings. Keep the original and verify the result in CAD software.
What is the difference between conversion and resizing?
Unit conversion multiplies coordinates by the source-to-target unit ratio about the origin to retain physical size and position. Resizing multiplies coordinates while retaining the unit label. Unitless or unrecognized inputs require an explicit source-unit choice; international feet are distinct from survey feet.
