OUR APPROACH

Small tools. Less busywork.

TheBrowserBox brings 305 free standalone tools and 24 category workspaces together in your browser. Useful tasks, focused controls, and processing that stays on your device.

A toolkit for everyday work and play

Explore 24 published categories: QR codes, images, PDFs, 3D and printing, CAD, conversions, calculators, audio, video, camera, music and learning, device and browser tests, typing, random decisions, mathematics, spreadsheets and data, files and archives, text, development, security and privacy, CSS and design, subtitles, dates and productivity, and geographic coordinates.

Use a standalone tool for one task, or open a category workspace to access its tools. Tools listed in more than one category share one URL and count once; the standalone count excludes workspaces.

Your inputs stay on your device

Selected files, text, passwords, camera captures, microphone samples and model data are processed locally. Libraries and workers are self-hosted. There is no tool-processing server or application upload endpoint.

Camera and microphone access requires your action and browser permission. Instruments synthesize sound locally. Practice scores and working results remain in the active page rather than an account or cloud history. Loading the site still involves ordinary requests to its host; read Privacy for the details.

Choose a task or a workspace

Find tools through search, category grids and related-tool shortcuts. Workspaces reuse the actual standalone interfaces and run one active tool at a time. Switching releases working state; nothing transfers automatically. Where an explicit result handoff is supported, its controls explain the format and limits. Download wanted results before clearing or switching.

Clear scope, useful results

Browser memory, device capabilities, supported formats and precision have practical limits. Each tool describes its scope. Timelapse exports a JPEG frame sequence rather than an encoded video; document capture provides manual cropping rather than OCR or perspective correction; the tuner estimates a steady single-note pitch rather than a calibrated measurement.

Geometry previews and basic mesh checks do not certify engineering or printability, and text-style scores do not prove authorship. Keep original files and review generated results before important use.

Free, with less friction

No account, paid processing tier, advertising scripts or application analytics are currently included. Only the light/dark theme preference is saved by the application. Your browser separately controls permissions, downloads and bookmarks.

Bookmark thebrowserbox.com to find your toolkit again. On desktop use Ctrl+D on Windows/Linux or ⌘D on Mac; on a phone use the browser’s bookmark or favorites menu.
