PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Why use this tool?
Your PDF is never uploaded to a server. A self-hosted PDF library copies pages in your chosen order within a cancellable browser worker, without converting them into images. No accounts, remote services or persistent document history are required. Clear releases the file and result.
Tool inputs stay in your browser. Only your theme preference is saved on this device.
A few things worth knowing
How do exact page sequences work?
Use original, one-based page numbers separated by commas. Both ascending and descending ranges are supported, for example 3, 1-2, 4-5 or 5-1. Every original page must appear exactly once; missing, duplicate and out-of-bounds pages are rejected. Blank means original order.
Does moving a page change its number?
The original page number stays with the page in the controls. Its output position changes. Move up/down shifts it one position; the destination slider or exact input moves the chosen original page to a specified output position after you click Move page. Reverse applies to the current order.
Can I remove or duplicate pages here?
No. Reorder PDF Pages keeps each original page exactly once. Use Remove PDF Pages to delete pages or Split PDF to extract a subset. Real page thumbnails support drag-and-drop and keyboard move buttons.
What limits and PDF features are supported?
One unencrypted PDF up to 50 MiB and 500 pages; output up to 100 MiB. Inspection and processing each have a 30-second limit. Interactive forms and signature fields are unsupported. Page content, dimensions and rotation are copied without rasterization. Document-level bookmarks, attachments, source metadata and signatures are not preserved as a new document; page annotations may be copied. This is not PDF sanitization.
