Open the viewer, STL inspector, converters, transform tool and mesh measurements in one private workspace. Choose a workflow to load its actual interface, with separate files and results.

Switching releases the active model, settings and results. Files do not transfer automatically. Save a result before switching, then explicitly select that saved file in the next workflow. Reset restores the active tool’s defaults; Close returns to this picker.

Formats and workflow limits
Model Viewer supports the published static mesh/point-cloud subset. Inspector and STL encoding conversion accept STL only. Mesh Converter, Transform and Surface Area & Volume accept supported triangle geometry and reject point clouds, lines and mixed primitive models. Read the selected tool’s own limits. Conversions preserve bounded geometry rather than complete scenes or materials. Volume is conditional; intersections and printability are not certified. Each tool keeps its own numeric, file and timeout limits.
A FEW SIMPLE STEPS
How to use 3D Workspace
Choose a workflow from the dropdown. Selection opens it immediately; the workspace starts with no active model or tool.
Use that workflow’s file chooser, controls and preview. Its original limits and processing behavior apply.
Download any required output before switching. Models, settings and results do not transfer automatically; explicitly select a saved file in the next workflow.
Use Reset to restore the current tool’s defaults, or Close to release it and return to the picker. Search and group filters only narrow choices.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Why use this tool?
Only the selected tool is mounted, using the same self-hosted interface and engines as its standalone page. Files and models are processed locally. Switching or closing releases the previous tool’s application references, workers and preview resources; inputs are not stored as a history.
Tool inputs stay in your browser. Only your theme preference is saved on this device.
A few things worth knowing
Are these the same tools as the standalone pages?
Yes. The viewer, STL inspector, STL ASCII/binary converter, 3D mesh converter, transform and surface-area/volume tool reuse their actual standalone markup and scripts in one active isolated panel. Standalone pages remain available.
Will switching keep my current file or result?
No. Switching, Reset or Close releases the active tool’s inputs and results. Download a result you need, then explicitly select that saved file in the next workflow. The workspace does not automatically transfer files or keep a model history.
Do search and group filters switch the tool?
No. They narrow the dropdown choices while keeping the active workflow open. If the current tool is outside the filter, the picker shows its placeholder; the active tool and its results remain until you select another workflow, reset or close it.
Does every workflow support all 3D formats?
No. The viewer supports its published static mesh/point-cloud subset. STL tools accept STL. The other mesh workflows use supported triangle geometry and reject points, lines and mixed models. Each workflow retains its own limits. Materials, animation, proprietary formats and remote resources are outside the supported scope.
Is mesh volume or printability certified?
No. Measurement volume is a conditional estimate after limited shell and numeric checks. Self-intersections, overlaps, cavities and printability are not certified. Read each selected workflow’s own scope and report notes.
