Continue with the actual subtitle
Create an actual subtitle result to continue in another tool.
How subtitle transfer works
Only the selected valid generated SRT / VTT result transfers, after your click. The next tool opens at defaults and parses the actual UTF-8 bytes through its file chooser. Split transfers the selected part only. Optional video/audio never transfers. Ordinary switching carries no text, media or settings. Keep downloads before leaving.
One active tool at a time. Reset, Close or ordinary switching releases text, media and workers. Explicit subtitle transfer continues with the actual generated file; verify format losses and timing after every step.

Formats and limits
Text-based SRT / WebVTT only: 2 MiB per file, 1,000,000 text characters, 10,000 cues in total, 8192 text characters per cue and timeline through 99:59:59.999. A 10-second local worker deadline applies. Subtitle Editor supports optional local media preview up to 256 MiB with native browser codecs. Styling is not rendered. Conversion losses require acknowledgment. No speech recognition, translation, OCR or burned-in video.
A FEW SIMPLE STEPS
How to use Subtitle Workspace
Choose a workflow; selection opens immediately. Search and group filters only narrow choices.
Paste subtitles, choose a local SRT / VTT file or try the sample. Review source cue timing and notices.
Generate and inspect the exact canonical output. Choose a destination and explicitly use the selected result to continue.
Download files you need to keep. Ordinary switching, Reset and Close release the active tool and its data.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Why use this tool?
Your subtitles and optional local preview media are never uploaded. The workspace reuses the actual standalone interfaces in an isolated active panel, with local UTF-8 Blob transfers and no hidden data sharing.
Tool inputs stay in your browser. Only your theme preference is saved on this device.
A few things worth knowing
Does switching tools carry subtitles or video automatically?
No. Only Use subtitles & switch transfers the selected valid generated SRT / VTT, using the destination file-selection handler. Optional video/audio, settings and unexported source edits never transfer. Download before leaving if you need a retained copy.
Are these the same standalone tools?
Yes. All six actual standalone interfaces, scripts, previews and limits are reused in a single active isolated panel. Standalone URLs remain available. Reset reopens defaults; Close releases playback, text, workers and results.
Are format conversions lossless?
Not always. SRT cannot preserve WebVTT header metadata, cue identifiers or layout settings. Merge discards document-level metadata. Plain-text stripping is optional. Review and explicitly acknowledge reported losses before generating; optional media preview never renders VTT styling.
